The Lemon family GENFORUM has a lot of Lemon messages, 1468, that you can search for distant cousins, and make collaborative efforts with. So, while I am not, there are many available for you.

Swyrich.com says that there are 3 origins for surname Lemon.

First found in Essex where they were seated from very ancient times, some say well before the Norman Conquest and the arrival of Duke William at Hastings in 1066 A.D.

Some of the first settlers of this family name or some of its variants were: John Leeman settled in Virginia in 1751; Sarah Leeman settled in Virginia in 1651; Joseph, Thomas and George Leaman all arrived in Philadelphia between 1840 and 1860.

Not myself, but back in the 80s there was a State cop in Delaware whose last name was Lemon. Nice guy with a good sense of humor. This was in the Wilmington area in case you are trying to track.
