I have a Closet that's about 5 feet wide, 2 feet deep and 5 feet high. Now this closet is built into the room, so I'm thinking since I don't have much clothing, I can throw the clothes under the bed in drawers and have space for something in my closet! Now I want to go with something in touch with technology. I'm going to put my Shark rack (Network Rack with a couple of routers and switches) in there, so it should take about 1/3 of the width. I am pondering on having a stereo system in there? Or perhaps something else? Any ideas?

Paint it a cool, but livable color, and build a little desk area into it! Add a bulletin board, and some drawers and suddenly you have a mini home office. Add a desk lamp, a few plug ins for a laptop, and other office supplies and it'll be perfect!

God Bless!!

I would leave some of it for hanging and put a shoe rack or drawers under-neath. Check Home Depot or Lowe's for closet cabinetry.

Then turn the other half into an entertainment center with shelving.

You're thinking really smart. Why waste closet space? Closets have more uses than just storing clothes.
My husband put rows of shelves in mine. I have my books, video tapes, DVDs, etc , nicely lined up. It looks really nice and I can find anything really fast, especially since I've categorized everything. A stereo system in there would be nice too. How about putting music related things in there with shelves? Just buy the brackets and shelves from Home Depot. Or, How about having your TV in there? Nice
