someone was found dead after 3 day's with gas the fire on and the house smells horrible how can i get rid of this smell ?

please no joker's this is a rented house of a old friend and it has to be cleared out, and the smell is very strong

I'd call one of those 'clean up' companies, like the ones that do fire and water clean up.

Hang lots of those little air freshener trees from the ceiling like on the movie "seven"...just kidding. I would call a place that specializes in that sort of thing. That is freaky. Good Luck...

In hospitals, we use peppermint spirits. It's an oil, and it has a really strong smell that can penetrate. Not sure where you can get them, maybe at a drug store? Amazon.com has them though.

Burn the house down if it is not a mansion. The smell is not removable.
