Love for the divine.
It makes everything beautiful!.
Hatred is the ugliest thing. It brings in frustration, anger and makes even beautiful look ugly.

I think the most beautiful think in the Universe are the colours, and the ugliest is the darkness. Because the colours can bring happiness to the eyes and the darkness don't.

For me....the most beautiful thing in the universe is music. I don't know what it is...but I feel most inspired and in awe of the arts...especially music. I feel the most spiritual when listening to someone I love....like Zevon, or Dylan, or the Pixies....or Talking Heads....
The ugluiest thing I've ever heard of was reading about the Taliban destroying thousand year old sculptures in the sides of mountains that were part of the record of all human history.
That to me most signified how awful and self destructive we can be with no purpose and no reason.
People who did that.....they are a cancer. There is no reasoning with that. There is simply removing the cancer from the organism.

The ugliest is a person who indulges in anger and self-pity, and makes everyone around them feel like they are nothing.
