Try as I may......I hardly get it right.
I do try to love her with perfect love (christ-like/agape love)
But that's impossible sometimes.
Edit:
Lover of Bible Truth - Ignore these idiotic answers. These people will use any excuse to say that they think the bible is anti-woman when in fact it's not.......

One of the most common questions spouses ask when confronting a marriage crisis is this: How can I save my marriage if my partner doesn't want to help find a solution? How do I succeed I am trying to save my marriage on my own? Learn here https://tr.im/qMS2N
It is a typical enough story: one partner leaves, the other stays. One remains 'in love', the other is uncertain. Whatever it is that has caused a couple to be apart, the one person who remains bears the prospect, fear, doubt, desire, hope of saving his or her marriage' alone.

Fairly good advice, too bad you didn't post the corollaries for the wives... I particularly like the one about wives being submissive.
But mostly yes, except the part about "weaker one" (isn't that really sexist???), but not because it's biblical but it's just a good way to conduct a relationship. Hmm, seems a little light on communication and problem solving techniques though.

Sometimes, letting go seems like the easiest thing to do. But think about this: you've invested so much of your time and energy into another person; you've made a solemn promise; and you still know there's love, even if it's hiding underneath the surface. This website will show you how to save a marriage and avoid divorce, even if you're the only one trying https://tr.im/CjR6l

This is the husband every wife should have,mine included.The sad part is that most husbands only know that the wife is supposed to submit to him.However if husbands would take these scriptures to heart they would have submissive wives.I recently counseled a young couple and the wife felt like her husband didn't love her.She had requested time and again for him not to go out with friends to party.He assured us that he loved her so much that he would die for her.How strange.He loved her so much that he would die for her yet couldn't give up a beer with the boys for her.Today he is sitting in jail for drug and traffic violations.How much better it had been if he would have loved his wife as pointed out in these scriptures.Lord help me to love my wife the way that you want me to. Amen!

Song of Solomon 4
Lover
1 How beautiful you are, my darling!
Oh, how beautiful!
Your eyes behind your veil are doves.
Your hair is like a flock of goats
descending from Mount Gilead.
2 Your teeth are like a flock of sheep just shorn,
coming up from the washing.
Each has its twin;
not one of them is alone.
3 Your lips are like a scarlet ribbon;
your mouth is lovely.
Your temples behind your veil
are like the halves of a pomegranate.
4 Your neck is like the tower of David,
built with elegance [a] ;
on it hang a thousand shields,
all of them shields of warriors.
5 Your two breasts are like two fawns,
like twin fawns of a gazelle
that browse among the lilies.
6 Until the day breaks
and the shadows flee,
I will go to the mountain of myrrh
and to the hill of incense.
7 All beautiful you are, my darling;
there is no flaw in you.

My husband does and we have a wonderful marriage. It is easy to submit to a man who treats you with the same love that Christ has. Wives are only told to submit to their husbands; husbands are told to protect, provide, love, and be willing to give thier lives for us. they will also bear the responsibility before GOd for their actions as husband. It is a tremendous responsibility!

Indeed I do. And I cautioned her that::
Deut. 25: 11-12
""When two men are fighting and the wife of one intervenes to save her husband from the blows of his opponent, if she stretches out her hand and seizes the latter by his private parts, you shall chop off her hand without pity."
I do miss her applause, though.

If more people in marriage relationships would follow God's guidance regarding marriage, our divorce rate would be much lower than it is now.
One man, One woman for LIFE.
It seems even the "til death do us part" idea was thrown out a long time ago.

No way. I treat my wife like an equal human being. I didn't cherry pick, I read the whole book and several versions. Women as chattel is big in the Bible.
