Ok, let me try to explain the best I can.....You know when you get a shower and the bathroom steams up and if someone wrote something you can see it...Well, what does it mean when you look at your mirror in your bedroom and it has a message on it and NO one was in your home to do it..
See a friend of mine lost her child and prays every night for him. Well the other day she went into her bedroom and the mirror was slighty steamed up and there was a message on it saying....I am here mommy...with a picture of a flower...something like a kid would draw....
She did not do this...I know that for a fact, and she totally lost her mind when it happened...I feel bad but don't know what to do or say to her..HELP!

I know for a fact noboday did it..and you couldn't see it until the mirror was steamed up. Is she going crazy and taking me along or is there a reasonable explanation for this?

Thank you to all you people who are understanding...she lost her child and no matter what I will be there for her...You jerks that want to say mean things, I just pray nothing like that ever happens to you, that you don't lose a child and then have to learn to go on after.

Oh I believe it! God has many ways to confort us. God doesn't need to wait for there to be steam in the room so that the message would be visible. God can do whatever he wants whenever he wants wherever he wants. He doesn't need any of you guys to believe or not to believe! Ok, so about your friend. This was a message for her. Tell her to treasure it and to thank God for it. At least now she knows her precious child is with her in spirit and that God allowed for this miracle to happen. She is blessed and YES SHE SHOULD BELIEVE IT AS REAL!!!

Did you see the mirror? Why would the mirror in her bedroom be steamed up?

I don't know; there's not really enough here to draw a conclusion - the explaination could be anything from wishful thinking or outright hoaxing to an actual paranormal event. And even if paranormal, it wouldn't even have to be the spirit of her lost child responsible; she could have unconsiously done this psychokinetically, or any of a dozen other explainations could apply.

However, if she wants to see it as a sign from her lost child, and it makes her feel better and more able to let go, then more power to it. On the other hand, if it upsets or obsesses her, you'd be best off steering her to find a more rational, grounded explaination for the event.

Tell her; "You're son is trying to let you know he's OK, and he loves you. He will always be with you and you'll always be with him. It's time to move on; he would have wanted you to do that."

Simple, keep it light nothing too deep; there's no use trying to figure out how or why the message got there. It was put there because she needed the message to be there. The powers that be, no matter what you're beliefs are knew this and used it to comfort her. Not everything is explainable.

We all come up with ways to get us through the horrible days after a loss. I doesn't matter what the truth is. As her friend, you just need to listen. Judgments are not what your friend needs. If this can give her some comfort, then so be it. If not, then she should be getting help with a grief councilor anyway. This may be the catalyst that gets her into some body's office.

How do you know she didn't make it up? or think she saw something. I lost a child and your mind goes crazy for awhile, you imagine things and are a lost soul for a very long time. you never get over it you learn to live with it. Its the worst experience you will every go through.

it sounds on the surface that the child's spirit is trying to once again make contact with this unfortunate woman but this may not be as comforting as it seems...let me explain

for a spirit to interact with the physical realm requires a LOT of energy to bridge the boundary to this world (which is why in most hauntings people feel more than they see because it's simply easier on the spirit). it seems possible to me that your friends constant thoughts might be feeding enough energy to the spirit to create manifestations. this in time can be dangerous as the constant loss of energy can cause severe mental depression and/or physical depression of the immune system in a way similar to psychic vamperism.

she needs to send this spirit on its way and soon. usually just telling to spirit to continue on it's journey works. if not burning sandalwood incense (to clear all energies and weaken the bond with the spirit), lighting a white candle(giving a boost of energy to yourself) and calling upon your higher power to send the spirit away should work
as it seems to have no malevelant intent

best of luck

holy crap! you extremely need to get your place blessed! you have have been given some extreme adverse potential occurring there and want help, whether that is out of your pastor or a clergyman or priestess! everybody who has a history with blessing and cleansing properties needs to get in there. whether that's a trickster spirit or something rather frightening (a new child that extremely became killed) you do want help. shop telling them they're long previous and that they do no longer seem to be welcome on your place. sea salt around the fringe of your house is powerful approximately heading off evil spirits as nicely as sage smoke.

Were you there? Do you know nobody did it? Or the child could have done it - the message would be invisible until there was steam around.

Why would you leap to the most unlikely explanation? I know its very sad that a child has died but they're gone. You can help her without entering in to her delusions. That could be dangerous.

Oh, that is so sad and sweet all at the same time....I really hate that she lost her child, but if she is a born again christian, maybe that is God's way of telling and showing her that she will be with her son again!!
