I read somewhere that to be effective in conversation, you need to be ready with the following subjects:
1. A book you are reading or just read.
2. A recent or upcoming trip.
3. Your hobbies.

have a couple of innocent jokes ready, not involving sex or bad language. Even if you have to sing off key don't let it get quiet or the date is doomed. But don't take over the entire conversation either, try to keep it more to understanding her

be funny! :) i went on a blind date, and i was really nervous...and it got really quiet, so i decided to ask some questions about the guy, and he told me a few things, and i would either say things like "yeah, thats the same way with me" or something along those lines..then once i thought we were both in a "comfort zone" with one another, thats when i decided to crack a few jokes, just to let him know that "hey, im silly, and easy to get along with":) try this and let me know how it goes! :) best wishes!

Just say something funny that never fails. Go in there with a not shy attitude that way the energy between you two is comfortable. Good luck

Hollywood, everyone keeps up with celebratity tv, Try talking about Brittney, or ask her about Nichole Smith. ect. also, you need to have a sense of humor.

Just ask about her and what she does and... just talk to her about anything. Ask her... favourite colour, favourite flower, favourite holiday... what primary school she went to. It doesn't matter, just get to know her.
If all else fails, make a complete prat of yourself. It'll make her laugh AND give you both something to talk about.

just let it flow keep the mood light and be yourself and you will find something to think about dont plan just let be , if it doesnt work out it doesnt but at least you were yourself , let her know that your interested in her and that you are an interesting guy !!Xx

open up to her with some things in your life, let her in on who you are first. then ask her similar questions to learn more about her. during this just go with it and branch off on her responses to move the convo.
