Actually, Jesus' last words on the cross were, "It is finished". Jesus cried out to God in Heaven because He had always enjoyed constant communion with His Father, constant communication, and when the crushing weight of all the world's sins were placed upon Him on the cross, that connection was temporarily severed, as God turned His face away from His Son (Since God cannot look upon sin). Jesus' separation from His Father was more than He could bear, even worse than the burden of the sins He was carrying. So when He felt that emptiness of God's absence, God's turning away from Him, He cried out, "My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me?" But when He died, the sins of the world were now paid for, and God could once again turn His face back to His Son in love, to resurrect Him.

Nice try. The last recorded words of Jesus Christ when He was on the cross were "Father, into thine hands I commit my spirit." Yes, it is true Jesus said "My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me?" because it was at that point that God placed the sins of the entire world on His Son and demanded a sacrifice for them as He did of the Israelites in The Old Testament. At that point Jesus was literally handed the bill for sin and told to pay up. No, God did His job that day, as He had promised -- He gave His Son over to die for our sins and then raised Him up on the third day, and by doing so He kept His divine promise that the Messiah would take away the sins of the world.

That is why the Trinity concept/theory is so difficult to accept. I asked something similar (without the "busy old god" part, because I would never dare to mock a deity).
I just wish the scholars would finally re-read the ancient manuscripts and correct all the errors made by early Christian scholars. Today Christianity deserves no less than the full truth, not just pieces of thruth.

i've got faith it replaced into considerable that the final concern Jesus did replaced into have the apostle John take his mom domicile. for sure, Mary replaced right into a widow and Jesus' fleshly 0.5 brothers did no longer yet have faith he replaced into the Messiah. So, Jesus' very final concern replaced into his mom's religious welfare. in case you have been loss of life like that could you're looking after your surviving kinfolk?

Get it straight, Christ called this out to show his understanding of humanity.
His actual final words on the cross were: Jhn 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
IT IS FINISHED: Christ finished what he came to do.
He didn't have to do it, BUT HE DID!
