The "leauge" depends not only on the age difference, but also on the age.
If he is 35 and she is 20, I would give it less of a chance than if he is 50 and she is 35.
Either way, good luck.

It really depends on her maturity. My late husband was 19 years older then me. His oldest daughter and I are a month apart. We were married for 16 years and very happy. His 5 children were not only my best friends in the world but I loved the grandchildren as well. You can almost tell if a relationship is real or if she just wants a nice cushion in life. One thing if they were to get married I do suggest a pre-nup. It protects not only him but his children as well. If she really loves him she will understand and he will take care of her if she really is a good kind and loving person. I know I was there and not a day goes by I don't miss him and want our life back the way it was. He was my one and only true love.

I don't see why he wouldn't consider it. 15 years is not THAT big of an age difference, especially once you're out of your early 20s. A good friend of mine has been married for 10+ years to a man 23 years older than her, they have two kids, and one child from his previous marriage. Age is not a big deal as long as the couple is compatible.

Well, as long as you are not a door mat. Personally I don't want a guy picking up woman pads for me for I can do that myself. They may be jealous especially if they see you are just doing nice stuff and she is not bossing you around. There will be jealousy toward men and women whose relationship are going good.

Of course it can work as long as neither of them is putting constraints or classifications on the other.

Why would you want to? Especially if the kids are young. You do realize that when you marry this guy, you are marrying the ex-wife and you will always be second fiddle in his life.
