Of course it's still holy no matter how it looked. The ant probably went to heaven and if you ate the chips you would be saved!

All of the ants and chips were then blessed. They will now go to heaven. If you believe that some one saying a little mumbo jumbo over some water makes it different then you will believe anything. Also, should you be interested, if you sell holy water the holiness diappeares. I don't know where it goes, but it is one of those miracle things we are not meant to understand.

It's still holy. Even if you saw a dead body floating in it, it would still be holy.
After all, if the water is supposedly blessed by God, and God is all powerful and all that jazz, then how could something contaminate the God's holiness to the point that it's no longer holy? Surely, God's mojo would be strong enough to overcome the contaminate?

Yes, the Holy Water is still holy.
The flotsam is now sanctified though.
[ Years ago I was baptized in the Jordan River in Israel. The water was cold, muddy, and dirty. Holiness is in the heart, not in the little water bowl where thousands of people dip their fingers.]
EEeeuuwww! Where have all those fingers been? Talk about unhygienic!

Imagine the things floating, sinking, and otherwise flowing with the current in the river Jordan. I would have to say yes, it is still holy b/c it is still blessed.

It certainly is, and that ant died in a state of grace. If you don't feel comfortable utilizing it in paraliturgical activity, you should pour it on the garden plants. They may not grow any faster but God will like them better.

It never was holy, because the guy who supposedly made it holy had no power or authority to do so.
