I don't feel good about it. It's like when parents try to teach their children that Santa is not real, but that God is--it's hard for a child to understand. That's why bringing the children to church, Sunday School or CCD, Hebrew class, etc. is a good thing.

I can say this---I don't believe in Mother Goose either, but I DO BELIEVE IN GOD. They are not written by the same one. Just shows how flawed the thinking and logic was of Mr. Darrow. Since he is now dead, I suppose when he came face-to-face with God, he asked, "Where is Mother Goose, now?"

Pity Mr. Darrow never heard of the phrase, "nom de plume". There really WAS a Mother Goose, but it was a man and he put together the beloved nursery rhymes in one book. Never mind that many of them began life as Tudor satires. Kids loved 'em and he made a bundle.

Now what does THAT do to his idiotic assertion?

Ridiculous. Darrow's belief that God is as a fictional a character as is Mother Goose doesn't make it so.

that just says that whoever beleives that is crazy...just because u cant see God doesnt mean he doesnt exsist. same with mother goose... they kinda do have a relative point, but God is the Almighty..mother goose is not...so if u dont belive in something simply because u cannot see it..then how are u breathing..air is invisible...do u not believe in that?
