Ok i know this sounds pretty bad the way I'm going to say it but you can have one or even more of your friends be your "gopher" Anything you forgot to grab for the wedding or errands you need to run before the wedding...see if they can do them for you. Its always nice to know that you can count on someone to do these things for you and make your wedding day much less stressful....it really doesn't matter how well you plan and coordinate your wedding something will be forgotten or left behind!!!!! You could also have someone be in charge of the guest book...help with seating at the reception....etc...any small little detail that you think you may need help with

You can have them read a poem or passage during the ceremony. My future sister-in-law wasn't in my wedding, but she worked really hard the morning of to make sure everything was perfect at the reception hall. I'm sure your friends would love to help!

They can do the readings at your ceremony. They can help with programs at the wedding. Maybe you can ask them to help with the bridal dance. Include them in preparing the favors for the wedding. Buy them some disposable cameras and ask them to be in charge of getting candid shots of the wedding and reception.
