I guess that depends on who's God you are speaking of. I believe that the Romans would beg to differ. Cupid is still seen today very much as a symbol of romantic love. He has retained his reverence through the Christian holiday St Valentines Day, which ironically is a rip off of an ancient Roman holiday Lupercalia. Everything old is new again.

well.there is actually, Al-Wadud (اÙÙدÙد) = The Loving, The Kind One
it's number 48 on the list
