Oh geez, I have so many "favorite quotes" I don't know that I can narrow it down to just one. So, I will provide you with a few of my favorites. As for why, if you comtemplate the meaning of these quotes, you will understand that each speaks volumes in just a few words. There is a very powerful message within each of them. Here they are:

Mind is the Master power that moulds and makes,
And Man is Mind, and evermore he takes
The tool of Thought, and, shaping what he wills,
Brings forth a thousand joys, a thousand ills: -
He thinks in secret, and it comes to pass:
Environment is but his looking-glass. - Allen

What a distressing contrast there is between the radiant intelligence of the child and the feeble mentality of the average adult. - Freud

I know this, at least, from my experience; if a man proceeds confidently in the direction of his dreams and endeavors to live the life which he has envisioned, he will meet with success unexpected in common hours. - Thoreau
