creative? hmm. it should be pretty easy to come up with something creative for this.
first of all, you need an identity. get a costume. it should have lots of bright colours (fluorescent, get it?). lightning bolts are a symbol of electricity, so you might work those into your theme. a cape would be a nice touch, too. then of course you need a catchy name. how about "fluoresco-man". you also need to come up with a personal slogan. make it something catchy and yell it loud. it needs to have emotional appeal and be easy to remember... the slogan should be "down with non eco-friendly light bulbs" or "death to non eco-friendly light bulbs" or something like that. having it include abandoned kittens or starving children in africa should help. also keep in mind that people need to identify you with your slogan when they hear it.
once you have a super-alter-ego, you need to define your mission. you are working to stamp out the use of inefficient light bulbs. so basically, you go to someone's house, and you announce your presence by yelling your slogan. then you run all through the house and find all the inefficient light bulbs. if you want to have a nice literal interpretation of your mission statement, your costume could include heavy boots, and you would place the light bulbs on the floor and stomp the bejeezus out of them. that would be rather inconvenient if the bulbs were already screwed in, though, especially if they were in the ceiling. so I recommend carrying a broomstick to use in those cases. just use the end of the broomstick to mash the bulbs on the ceiling. you could also use it to smash bulbs out of chandeliers or table lamps.

Where is the proof that global warming is even real? Other the a bunch of people getting together and coming to a consensus there is no proof. Second I will never use the silly things. I like my light bulbs to put out light. A 14 watt eco-friendly bulb will never ever no matter how hard you want it to put out as much light as a 60 watt regular bulb. Also there have been reports from some scientists that they contain mercury. Remember that stuff. So as asked where is the proof. The earth goes through numerous warming/cooling cycles. If you all pay attention to all these reports that you tout about global warming you will find that the temp of the earth had raised a whopping 1 degree in the last 100 years. Plus if you all had not noticed for the last month you have not heard much about global warming cuz of all the cold weather. It is just a bunch of BS.The bulb's connector fit into the fixture like an incandescent bulb, but the base of the bulb does not (referring to the large white piece where the bulb connects). This usually creates a tight fit inside of the fixture, if the bulb will fit at all (I could not even get the bulbs into my ceiling fan). Also, I replaced my outdoor bulbs (porch and driveway lights) with the new bulbs, and found that bulb is so tall that it extends into the top of the fixture. This causes the white base to be the visible part, while the bulb itself extends into the top of the fixture, blocking the light.

The money they save on the electrical bill, the brightest of fluorescent bulbs at a fraction of the power. If everyone in North America were to change/replace a few incandescent bulbs with a fluorescent ones you would be able to shut down about 30 coal fire generating stations that woul greatly reduce green house gas emissions.

Forget selling the environmental argument. Point out that they don't often blow from excess voltages and that they will only need to change them something like 1/20th as often as a standard bulb. Wave around the magic word 'convenience' - it's far more appealing.
