1) Call the university's financial aid office for suggestions. They'll probably have an official form that you need to fill out to get federal assistance and assistance from the school itself.

2) Ask your high school counselor for a list of available scholarships that your school has been notified about. Also ask them for the form I mentioned above. High schools usually have them.

3) Do an internet search for scholarships.
