Yesterday my puppy (4 months) had a really full day. We went to the park for an hour in the morning, then on a medium length walk, and then that night she had her first lesson at puppy obedience school. Today, she was super sleepy in the morning when she's usually hyper, even though we came down 1.5 hours late. Also, the rest of the day, she's hasn't remained awake for more than two hours or so without going back to sleep. When we let her out she just lays there even though usually she jumps around and plays with her toys. Otherwise she seems healthy, she ate a little less at breakfast and dinner, but otherwise fine. Do you think she's just tired out from yesterday or could she be sick?

I wouldn't be concerned unless this behaviour continues tomorrow.

She's probably just worn out, that is a very full and tiring day for a puppy. Remember they need a lot more sleep, just like human babies do. Do keep an eye on her though. If she stops eating, you should worry. Also, vomiting and/or diarrhea are signs of trouble. If she's not back to herself by tomorrow, you should at the very least call your vet and see if they would like her to come in. The first signs of parvo are lethargy/depression, diarrhea, and vomiting.

At some months previous, you would be feeding her the two three times an afternoon or preserving the nutrition out so she will eat whilst she needs to. in case you're actually not feeding her this lots, start up now! in case you're feeding her purchase she isn't gaining weight AND has or has had fleas, she's probably have been given tapeworms. yet even tapes shouldn't reason her bones to instruct via her epidermis. the sole element that could reason this is loss of nutrition. At that youthful an age, the domestic dog could be fat, sassy and crammed with potential. evaluate taking her to a vet to be certain what the reason of the subject is.

4 month old puppies sleep a LOT. It's not that unusual, especially considering she had quite a busy day for a pup. Between the physical and mental exercise (training) I think it just may have been too much for her.

Give her a rest and if she still can't seem to stay awake, go to the vet.

Im not a pro on animals health, but I feel it's what you suspect, it just had a hard day, the day before, and it's resting up, but if by later today, it seems the same, you can call the vets and ask there opinion, maybe ask them sooner, if it makes you more at ease.

If her gums are nice and pink and she is eating and pottying normally,I'd say she's just tired. If she's not back to her normal self tomorrow I would let the vet have a look though.
