Bad boys are ok if they have a job. Macho men are too into themselves and would rather workout in front of a mirror than work out on a relationship. Sweet and romantic is nice on occasion, but too much is just creepy. My husband has a little bit of everything. He's got the bad boy factor cuz he can kick someone's a$$ if they mess w/ me or the kids, so that also ties in w/ the macho thing. He's definitely a "man's man." But he also tells me I'm hot and sexy all the time and would do anything for me! So, I guess as long as there's a good mix of qualities, it's definitely a good thing! Well-rounded is the word I was looking for!

I think most girls prefer sweet & romantic.
A guy who is too stuck on him self (macho man) can be a big turn off.
However, alot of girls like tough guys. They like to know you would stand up for them in a fight and protect them in the face of danger...not run and hide. They like it if you can change the flat tire on the car yourself and check the oil in thier car for them.
They like confidence, not concedence.
There are some girls who like the "bad boy" image...but you may attract a not so good girl.

My man is a rough and tough get down and dirty type ... drives a tractor, rides dirt bikes, tattoos and piercings ... etc ... but is the sweetest most romantic man I have ever met ... he's a tiger in the bedroom and a gentlemen around my family ... he's funny & not afraid to show his feelings ... so I guess I like a little bit of everything ... lol ... !

a mixture of both. No one wants a sissy OR a guy that's going to be out all the time smoking and beating people up. I guess most girls want a normal guy that would stick up for her against ANYONE that had a go, but that is also romantic when he needs to be.

I prefer intelligent, employed and educated macho man.I don't care if he is not sweet and romantic.I 'll give him the sweetness and romance that will last him for the rest of his life.. My phone is disconnected and I have no cell.

i hate macho men. they're arrogant, stupid, and immature. so, i prefer sweet and romantic. acting like a jerk won't get them anywhere with women.
