I have nothing against people that do get help if they need it but for someone to brag that they have money but yet ask how to qualify for goverment assistance i just think they are lazy and liars.

I do know someone like that and it pisses me off. I make too much to qualify for any government help, yet I don't have enough money to provide for what i need. Yet people that have more money then me are getting government help. That is why some people continue having kids, they get more money and don't have to work, I know someone with three kids that makes about 1200 a month, and free house because they are poor, and that doesn't count free medical and such. I was barely making that working full time. and I didn't get any help.

Not that specifically. But I know plenty of people who get WIC, foodstamps, cash assistance, daycare assistance, and still have a brand new 50 inch flat panel TV in their living room, go out to eat in family restaurants (i.e. Applebees and such), and other luxuries that I'd rather my tax dollars weren't paying for.

There is something wrong with that situation. Government funds come in handy but if you already have money, unless they lied about it to the agency, you usually wont qualify for money from the government.

They may be trying to cheat the system. However, a lot of people don't want to admit if they are broke or need help financially, so they pretend they are better off than they are. It's their pride.
