I have on online friend who has helped me at times with my homework. Some of my assignments require me to have a partner who I either have to interview, or ask them to keep a journal of what they eat during the week and such, and this friend of mine has helped me a few times. I am thinking of giving her a small gift as a token of my appreciation. Since she lives in a different province than me, I can't buy anything big so I am thinking of giving her a Starbucks gift certificate (because she LOVES Starbucks coffee.) Should I?

If you have her e-mail address, you can also send e-certificates like through Amazon or other stores.

That's very thoughtful of you and it sounds like the perfect gift, make sure you find a great card that encompasses your relationship.. whether funny..heartfelt or just a few words then write a special note of thanks..Gratitude is a very special quality and know people may forget the things you've said and sometimes even the things you have done but they will never forget how special you make them feel! I think if you want to give her a gift for being a good friend that would be fine. However if you say it's for helping you she may feel uncomfortable, thinking that you think she's only helping her for a present. So give her the gift, but not for homework help.

Yes, you should definitely show her your appreciation since she has given lots of her time to help you out. A gift card is nice because you can send it in the mail and it will also be useful to her. I know she'll love it.

one thing I wanna make you remind of is that friends are for helping you in need thats why; some one has said" A friend in need is a friend indeed".
Gifts on occasion looks appropriate but when thrown away just like that,Gifts looses their charm and importance.so,it would be wonderful to send gift but your friend would certainly appreciate when she'll get in on a special day.

He became racist,a womanizer,a poser,a jerk and a druggy so i advised him that and we stopped being acquaintances yet human beings respected me for telling him off and that i made new acquaintances yet idk my lifes no longer yours so per chance theres a rationalization why shes performing all nasty you not at all comprehend... yet when theres no longer pass with plan A.=P
