Ignore these fools
Yes you do need gas but it depends on your car as to how much you need
I just passed my test and was learning in a KA and that needed hardly any gas,
I have just got a Fiesta SI and it needs quite a bit of gas or it will stall
It's trial and error.
Lots of luck

Only enough not to stall the engine!
Its not about speed its about accuracy!
Take your time to think about it and relax but don't show hesitancy!
Hesitancy to a driving instructor is better described as panic!
Have a little confidence while your practicing and don't be afraid if it doesn't happen first time!
Sometimes you learn more when your a bit more aggressive while training!
