The skin has many layers, two of the major ones would be the dermis and the epidermis. The epidermis is the skin that you see...you most outer layer. When you get a tattoo, the ink goes all the way down to the dermis. There is no possible way that scrubbing would be able to get rid of a tattoo. Scrubbing can't reach that level of the skin.
If it was so, then people would invest in St. Ives, instead of several laser treatments, to remove their unwanted tattoo.

nothing can remove a tattoo especially not an exfoliator. Even laser has a rough time getting rid of it. When you have a tattoo, it stays there for life, because the ink goes deep into the skin and laser can only erase what's on the surface and not beneath that. So don't worry, it won't ever fade.

As long as the tattoo is healed, it shouldn't cause a problem. Exfoliating removes the top layer of dead and loose skin and tattoo ink is embedded deeper down into the dermis. You'd have to scrub with a palm sander to remove the tat.

If it's recent and has not yet healed then yes it will fade, as the roughness is likely to knock of the scab, then it may scar. If it's an old tattoo that you want to get rid of then no it will not fade, only using a laser can get rid of it.

No, exfoliating will not remove the tatoo. When you exfoliate, you are removing dead skin cells from the epidermis, or outer layer of the skin. Tatoo ink is applied directly in the dermis, or the layer of cells below the epidermis. This ink shows through the epidermis.
Currently the only way to remove a tatoo is by laser treatment, which can be both costly and painful.

tattoos are not inked in your outer part of skin, it is underneath the skin. No matter how you abrase your tattoo with exfoliants, you wont be able to get rid of it. If you think it is easy to get rid of tattoos by exfoliating, why do people go to laser centers for removal?

actually im not sure of that one. What i did to remove my tattoo was to get some alcohol and mix it with mayo (i know its weird but it worked for me and my uncle) then yo heat it up a bit and put it on the tattoo. I will then fade lttle by little, so you repeat it as desired

You need to give your skin proper time to fully heal, around 30 days. If it is not it can still be slightly scabbed and scrubbing it can mess up the color. Same as exposing it to the sun. When it is fully healed you will not be able to hurt it with an exfoiliator. I do it often and have not messed up either of mine at all.

I don't think so, it seems like the tattoo ink would be too far down. You would have to scrub for awhile and it would be really painful.
