Is anyone married to one. We have young kids and my wife has left her lover ( that she left me for) and wants to work it out. Is it doable?

Wow, this is tough. If she realizes she needs to change, and is willing to do so, then give her one more chance. It might be smart for you two to get marriage counseling. Just be patient with her and make sure the kids don't get hurt in the process of you two trying to work it out. Good luck!

Gino, first, has your wife been diagnosed, or are you just attributing narcisism to her?
Second, are you both in therapy?
People don't change unless they want to. If she is willing to do the work to make a change, then yes, you ahve an excellent chance. However, if she won't attend theapy then you have a problem.

No. marrieag demands selflessness. impossible for a narcissist. Her lover in all hazard kickerd her out. Now she is coming lower back to you. tell she desires help. and notice a relatives regulation attorney to verify your rights in case she comes to a decision to take the youngsters.

Do youtrust her? Love her? And who's to say she won't do it again. can it work? Sure years of counseling and therapy for you , her and the family. If you have an altruistic personality it will work.

No, it can't work. A marriage is a partnership. People with NPD are 1000% self-absorbed.
