I go through the same thing on the weekends. I eat healthy all week long but when the weekend comes around when I visit family in the area the food around is tempting. For one I do not drink carbonated liquids on a daily basis. I will only have half the portion and that is rarely. I have plenty of water with lemon juice, milk or black coffee. My husband and I always split the tempting things if it's put in front of us so we split the calories and do not feel as if we are missing out. As for going to McDonald's I get a kids meal. Almost the same but in smaller portions.

I eat that stuff and I am fine. I just get the smaller sizes and an occasional salad. I never drink pop. I have a few beers now and then. I have coffee with the meal, the half teaspoon of sugar satisfies the hunger. It is the bred that makes you fat. Limit the fried batter, get grilled chicken, etc instead of french fried. eat the lettuce and tomato too.

Just imagine yourself looking 10 years younger and 50 lbs. thinner a while from now while they are eating crap and you're eating healthy.

Don't go to those places if it bothers you. Or don't eat with those people if you can't handle it. It's good to see someone with determination and will power.
Keep up the good work.
