An OMFS (oralmaxofacial surgeon) will do this type of surgery. One site you can look at that I thought was informative is:

http://www.mcenta.com/For%20Patients/Salivary%20glands/salivary_gland_surgery.htm

you can find this and others under parotidectomy using the search.

Also check with yahoo search for Frey's syndrome, which is a neurological disorder usually sustained during the surgical procedure of the parotidectomy (salivary gland removal) involving the facial nerve paralysis. There are several sites that would apply to having this procedure and the consequences that may result from the surgery leaving a patient with this condition. Hope I've been of some help and good luck with the surgery.
