Don't spill your guts! Let him know you care for him, but don't go so far as to leave yourself vulnerable by opening up to the point of no return, which could harm your friendship. You can let him know you think you're having feelings for him that go beyond friendship and see what he says. Maybe he feels the same way? Maybe his feelings for you are strictly platonic and he doesn't want to endanger your friendship by exploring further. I was friends with my husband before we fell in love. Just be yourself and be there for him, to talk, to laugh, just be together, get to know him better, does he have a girl friend? If it's meant to happen, it will. Let your parents consult his parents. Any family friend may also can do this but any other fellow may turn hostile when you scoop. If you are infatuated better not propose directly because any negative response may cripple your heart. Handle with care.
