No, I believe giving birth to more mouths than I can feed is morally wrong, however.
Not to mention stupid!

You can only believe what you are taught be your religious leaders. This is based upon a power pyramid; the more people in your group, the stronger your group becomes. It is a We versus They, and usually, every few years there is a war to get rid of the surplus population. Personally, I am in favor of birth control, as our space, water and food supplies are limited globally. Anytime you have doubts regarding birth control, take a good long look at starving, pitiful children and you will find your answer. If you can't care for one, why bring forth more? Best wishes

To preface -- I'm not Christian and am not supporting this view -- this is just my understanding of it. But, I don't think there's a problem with condoms, etc. (as long as you're married) -- the problem that some have with birth control pills is that when a woman's on the pill, sometimes conception still occurs, but the pill works to make the uterus an "unhealthy environment" for the embryo, so it will essentially be miscarried right away because it cannot live in the uterus due to the hormones she's on. So she gets her period every month like normal, not knowing that conception might have actually occurred. For those who define life as the moment of conception, a soul has now died.

And as a follow up, if christians or anyone else believes that birth control is wrong, what about a woman (lets say a christain woman), telling a man (lets say her husband) she doesn't want to have sex because (you fill in the reason- headache, whatever)... is this not equally wrong? It would be denying a "potential human life" would it not? How do you know if she might have gotten pregnant had they had sex?

ok birth controle in the catholic eyes big no no but put it this way if you are married and dont have the income to support kids then i think its a damn good idea and should deff be practiced also if you are not mentaly ready for kids its a good idea or well in the case of you just plain hate the lill things then well no point having them then just get fixed then birth controle is not needed after that. in the case of singles having fun i belive it is esential to use some form of controle pref a condome due the the high risk of std's redaly available in the sex scene. as on the religiouse front if you church says no ask them if there gonna feed the kids and if they say no well tell them to get screwed

start administration may well be a debatable undertaking between Christians because of the fact the Bible would not of course condone or condemn its use. It, as a result, turns right into a count of the middle and of a husband and spouse's own convictions. the 1st element we could desire to renowned is that babies are a present day from God (Psalm 127:3-5). they do no longer seem to be burdens to undergo, yet advantages to acquire with exhilaration. From a biblical attitude, each couple could "anticipate" to have babies. the shortcoming to have babies became into seen a curse, and the skill to conceive a exhilaration. no person became into ever recorded interior the Bible as being unhappy approximately bearing babies. everlasting start administration (i.e., a vasectomy or tubal ligation) may well be suitable for some couples that experience they could desire to no longer have to any extent further babies. there may well be well-being, economic, or dating themes to contemplate. the determination for everlasting start administration should not be made consistent with egocentric ambition or ineffective conceit (Philippians 2:3-4), yet out of a opt to stay in techniques that are beautiful to God. we could desire to continually opt to have babies basically as we opt to acquire all of God's advantages. on an identical time, because of the fact the Bible would not forbid birth control, the two temporary or everlasting, it won't be in a position to be sufficiently argued that that's incorrect in all circumstances. via our own relationships with God, we are able to seek for God's will to be certain the dimensions of our families. stated source: Adopting for good: A instruction manual for people thinking Adoption via Jorie Kincaid.

Birth control might prevent people from having abortions or abandoning their babies in a cornfield, or being born to child-abusers......ofcourse birth control is not wrong...think of all the crack babies out there....do we need more?
Good Christians would consider these issues......I mean, why spread more evil?

im fine with contraception. i dont think creating lives irresponsibly and randomly is a good thing. being a christian is about looking after eachother - and lets face it, a 14 year old who has drunken one night stands isnt going to be the ideal nurturing christian parent. unfortunately the whole sex before marriage argument doesnt wash now, which is a shame, but i do believe that if you're committed to the one person and plan to be so forever, and decide to sleep with them , in god's eyes that is the 'marriage' between the two of you.

Some types of "birth control" are better than others. There are very few people who understand that one should have as many children as possible. there are a few with that strange idea.

Absolutely not. There are 6 billion people on this earth, more than at any other time in history and these numbers are unsustainable. What is wrong is bringing inocent children into a world where they suffer from the moment they are born and die of starvation or AIDS or something else equally horrible.

Depends on how you define "birth control". If it involves pulling a fetus out of a womb and tearing it into peices...then I'd say there may be some problems with "birth control". Would you disagree?
