It is both,but cooperation should win out if we follow our hearts and minds.We need to get along if we want to go forward and grow and ultimately survive

(Man will dominate man, to his own injury.) I would say that mans nature is highly competitive. If it was cooperative, they would invent one god to follow, and be content.

~~~Maria,,,, Primarily, it is Ego-driven, thus competitiveness dominates,,, whereas Heart-driven motivation begets cooperation, hence our Human Shortcomings and penchant for War.
