why do girls always seem to want "tall,dark and handsome"? i'm 5' and have always preferred my men under 5'6". hubby#1 5'8"(too tall), #2 5'2", current 5'3"
have women ever thought about how many great guys they are passing up by overlooking(or is that looking over?!) them!!!
my 5'3" man makes me feel tall!!!
he thinks i'm weird because i go for the short guy!!!

i don't mean a man shorter than you, just shorter in general, seems like lots of women want over 6' tall, and yes i think that tall women get the short end of the stick when short ladies go for super tall men.

maby some girls think of a taller guy as being a protector, and also girls that don't care about anything exept image want a tell hunk. but you have to see that not all girls look only to the tall guys. my first crush was on the shortest guy in school, and i am one of the tallest girls in school. lol. now i am going out with some one shorter that me and i don't care. the main thing you have to remember is that being short don't mean you will never find a fine girl.

I am 5:8' and was in high school. I was pretty much the tallest girl in our school back, way back in the days!! I was self conscience of that, therefore I was usually taller then most of the guys cause they were still growing. Therefore, I have always like a guy taller then me. They make me feel secure. However now that I'm older, there are few 5:6"--5'7" men that do turn my head and if I was available, I would go after them.....

I think that only is the case in the very young and very shallow. Kind of like worrying about baldness. There are some terrific guys out there that are short and bald! They are the ones that the women want to marry. The pretty, tall bad boys are just for fun until we get smarter.

I don't prefer tall guys. I am 5'3" and my husband is 5'4" so we are the perfect height for each other. My prom date was 6 feet tall and I had to reach my arms way above my head to dance with him. LOL

I have never overlooked short men. In fact, that's mostly what attracts me, I'm short (5'2"), and I never really wanted a man that was very tall. my boyfriend is 5'5", and works for me.

It's genetic. The taller stronger person will have a better chance of chasing down the saber tooth tiger and surviving. The shorter guy is the bate they use to catch it.

I like my guy to be about my height (5`8), so yeah, I don`t like really tall guys,I like to be able to look him in the eyes and talk to him without having to look up.

I'm 5'4" and I tend to like men that are at least 6', although if I met my soulmate and he didn't happen to be so tall, I'm sure I could overlook it.

because im 5'9 and i dont need a shorty to look down to...i need a tall handsome man who can carry me and hold me and take care of me.... not have me bend down to lift him up for a hug.
if ur short, then find a short man...if ur tall then find a tall man, thats my motto.
