If you need any give me a yell I have tons LOL.

My dogs are fed a raw diet and therefor the body extracts all the goodness and vitamins nutrients etc and as there are no colourings preservatives fillers etc the poo is white and chalky.

The modern dog foods are full of heaven knows what.

It's all in the diet. Most dog food is full of fillers these days that just don't digest or breakdown too well. Dogs fed a raw/barf diet have small poos that will usually dry up quickly.

I always thought white dog poo was the result of a purely raw, fresh meat based diet. Maybe the abundance of processed dog food has changed our pets' poop?

White dog poo is old dried up dog poo that flies have drained and I guess the reason we dont see it as much is that the streets etc are getting cleaned better or quicker.

We don't see white dog poo anymore because now, by law, we are required to clear up after our dogs. Dog poo turns white after a long time so obviously with people clearing it up now - no white poo!

By white dog poo do you mean that it was left where it was allowed to turn white in colour. This had to be before the new hygiene act. OF course now everyone has a responsiblity of scooping it up and putting it in bags or in the dog bin.

its the butchers fault, my dog does brown poo normally but when he gets a few bones his poo turns whiter, there are not so many butchers about because of supermarkets so the dogs don't get so many bones and the poos are browner and what the hell am i doing on here going on about the colour of dog poo?

White dog "poo", as you call it, can mean Parvo. Most dogs are protected now. Almost always fatal for puppies and very expensive to save older dogs.

What you saw before was poop that was decomposing. People pick up after their dogs now (mostly), so there is nothing left to decompose. If I happen to miss a pile in the yard from my dogs and find it later, it's on its way to being white.
