My trainer says crunches are still the best thing to do that won't cause injury. Do straight up and down crunches, as well as crunches to each side.

Good luck!

A good ab workout requires lots of repetitions. Old fashioned sit-ups are still one of the best ways for good results. Slow controlled crunches help too. Be sure to keep hydrated through all of this. An a exercise that is very productive is called a v-up. its where you lay flat and lift your body upwards into a v shape and repeat. Most exercises are meant to be done in sets, I recommend doing the ab exercises in sets of 10.
