Im on the birth control patch and have been for 3 years. I never got my period before I was suppose to and I just did. Im not suppose to get it until next Wed. I didnt mess up my days to change the patch so I dont know why I am bleeding. I havent had sex for a while and did just recently and it caused me to bleed lightly which I thought was fairly normal....now I am bleeding heavily like I am on my period....do you know what the reason could be? Im worried

Sex can change your regular balance. It shouldn't be a problem, next month, if it comes early again, contact your doctor or gynecologist..

I had problems while I was on the patch. It moved and sometimes would come off. You need to see your doctor to find out whats up.
