organic means no chemicals have been sprayed on the fruit to stop pests. it is the same if you have an apple tree in your back yard and do not treat it with any pesticides. Organic takes more hands on growing and reg. fruit they just spray everything with pesticides and leave it. So what you are paying for is a higher quality of food.the way nature intended. OH no did I just sound like a commercial? LOL!

Basically organic fruit is left alone. Non organic fruit will have been sprayed with insecticide and possibly even been genetically modified to be larger than it would naturally and to have more colour.
