It was not his tent, it was the tent of the Jewess. He was fleeing from a battle and had requested asylum. It was the proper and moral thing to be able to ask for asylum and a high moral obligation to provide it. Instead he was murdered by his hosts. Now I will have to look up the names. I am thinking the name of the Jewess was Yael, but I am not sure. It is a fairly minor story except that it was meant as a slur against the people of the defeated king(running hiding asking for salvation and death at the hands of the wive of his enemy) but actually comes out as just another story illustrating treachery and telling people not to trust Jewish women.

My mistake and misspelling, Not Jewish but a Kenite, Jael betrayed a former ally to the Jewess Deborah's general by murdering by hammering a stake through his skull and pegging him to the ground with it.. Her was sleeping in her tents after she offered him refuge and food. She promised safety and did a political assassination.
The victims name was Sisera, a general in command of an army which had just been defeated in battle.

Never trust a Kenite and never sleep in a Kenite house!

Sisera--in the days of Judge Deborah--she told Barak that Yahweh God was going to give Sisera into his hand and then, God gave Sisera into Barak's hand by a woman, Jael, Heber's wife. Judges 4:1-23.

Sisera. It did happen to Chuck Norris once, except it wasn't really a tent peg, it was a ***** slap delivered by Richard SImmons when Richard caught Chuck looking at other men.

Deborah killed Sisera.....in Judges 5:26
26 She stretched her hand to the tent peg,
Her right hand to the workmen’s hammer;
She pounded Sisera, she pierced his head,
She split and struck through his temple.
