Any tumors can spread. Your kitty needs a trip to the vet, asap. Some of these questions amaze me - as if this kind of stuff isn't bothering your kitty or causing pain. Wouldn't you go to the doctor to remove a tumor in your eye - or at the very least to get it checked out? That's your responsibility as a pet owner - take care of it!
Cats, unlike other domesticated animals, retain a close behavior relationship to their lion ancestors - one of which is to not show weakness or pain for fear of being attacked or banished from the pride. Many times it's way past time for care when cats will show how much pain they are in. Get this kitty to the vet to see what's really going on.

Of course, go see a vet!!!!! Cancers are a shyster that trick the body into thinking that it belongs there. It can metastasize or spread to any part of the body. Some cancers may contain itself to a given area, but some can break off and go anywhere, even the brain and lungs or stomach.

A tumor is a build up of cancer. Cancer is a cell disorder that reproducts very quickly and spreads, and other cells can't fight it. Quite simply, yes. Go see a vet.

Yes. Worse case scenario at this stage is the eye has to come out.
One-eyed cats lead happy and productive lives, and my one-eyed cat is the nicest cat I've ever met.

even if it is benign it may turn into malignant if not removed
