How can I prolong washing my hair by a day? Any tips? I am trying to decrease the amount of blowdrying I do, and since I dry my hair every time I wash it, I would like to be able to go 2-3 days between shampoos. Any ideas other than baby powder?

When you wash your hair use cool water as hot water will cause the hair follicles to produce more sebum (grease/oils) and also refrain from massaging your scalp too much when washing (or throughout the day) and conditioning as this also has the same affect.
scrape your hair back when you can to prevent you from sweeping it from your face as this will will cause your hair to be more greasy. if you do this it your hair should last longer.

oh and one final thing which is probably obvious but when conditioning do not put the conditioner any where near to the roots as one; it is new hair - it doesn't need conditioning and secondly it will be greasy the next day.

hope this helps x

I'm having the same problem. In addition to baby powder, which I haven't tried yet, you can try letting your hair dry naturally, don't keep touching your hair often, wash your hair in the morning rather than sleeping on it, & when hair looks greasy- rinse it don't wash it. Try these

Theres this stuff you can find at drugs stores. Its in a white spray bottle and it's called psssst or something weird like that. You spray it on the roots and it would be a cleaner easier version of you using the baby powder.
