It depends on which portion of each text you are speaking of. For example, the new testament is much less violent than the old testament. In a similar way, the latter portion of the Koran is more violent than the begining which preaches peace. But all in all they are close to equivalent in their advocating of violence.

Koran is just like the Bible. People who believe in Koran are more violent.

There's a part of the Koran where it explicitly says that if you die under certain (violent, self-sacrificing) circumstances, you will automatically go to paradise.
There's a part of the bible where an army general is spiritually praised for killing an entire village (and possibly nation) of people who aren't Christian.
More or less? Who can say.

i'd say the koran and the old testament are pretty much the same and the new testament a little less violent. but they all have peace in them too. also depends on the persons interpretation of them.

Qur'an has over 100 identifiable war verses. That is one out of every 55 verses in the Qur'an. The war verses are scattered throughout Muhammed's chapters like blood splatter at the crime scene. I can not help to that see this as a threat for people who do not believe that he was really a Prophet he claimed to be. Because failing the conversion, Muhammed ordained that non-Muslims be killed or enslaved.
Luckily I have met so many fine Muslims that they give me hope that Islam is the religion of peace.

Don't you think its an unfair question? Muslims may say the bible and the Christians the Koran. So no use right?

The relevant question is: Are followers of the Koran more or less violent than followers of the Bible?
The proof is in the pudding, IMHO.

I would say the Koran.
The Koran contains all the violence of the Old Testament (just like the Bible) plus all of the newer violence Muhammed preached.
That is of course from an amount of violence standpoint.

More violent than the new testament, less than the old. You are all still idiots, however, who should not be let loose to perform any type of violence at all. All murderous acts are justified as self-defense in your twisted minds.

Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong, but here's how I understand it: the Quran is nonviolent. The Bible is nonviolent. The people who came afterwards went radical and violent, willfully misinterpreting what their Book of Truth said. Thus, both religions got a bad name thanks to radicals who didn't even follow the teachings of their founders.
