If you're allergic to the wax you can't prevent it. You may have to opt for tweezing or getting them threaded by Indians(better than waxing).
If you're not allergic...try washing your face right afterwards and applying a gentle astrigent solution, NOT ALCHOHOL.
Some woman go to barber shops and have men shave them, that can be nice if the man knows wat he is doing.
I Tweeze mine and then apply ice afterwards to close the pores (that prevents possible infections (pimples)).

To prevent bumps after eyebrow waxing, simply don't wax your eyebrows.

Seriously though when you pull the unwanted hairs of your eyebrows out the bumps are your skin's way of repairing itself, or an obvious sign of irritation.

Take another person's advice for a serious answer. Good Luck.

Rub the area with rubbing alchol ouch and then sprinkle with baby powder is a perfect home remedy. In the salon we use different products made for irritation that can be purchased at any beauty supply store. If you can stand the smell tea tree oil works great as a calming agent just dab a little on the skin that has been waxed no burning sensation at all.
