I've bought last year a book "How to see the aura" and i've made exercises that were in the book and i definitely feel it...it's so cool...but when it comes to see the aura....things get a bit complicated...I'm not convinced that what i see is the aura...when i look at my hands i really see a small glow around the fingers(turqoise or blueish or green) but i'm afraid that's what others call "after image" and it's an illusion...I can't see someone's aura (i guess)and i really need someone to clear it all up to me...so if you know anything please tell me :)

Not everyone can see them. I have for years; I think certain pairs of glasses I wear pronounce them better than others. Most people have a bright bluish aura, a few people have a distinctly yellow one. Have seen only a couple of people with red ones. The people with yellow auras seem to be more likely to be sick later or have health problems, so my perspective is that your aura is your natural energy field resulting from your atomic structure of your body-- and if it is sick or injured, it differs in color. Just my one theory, of course. If I am sitting around waiting on someone, I will start looking at people's auras just for the heck of it. Every once in a while, I do see some with no aura at all, or so faint it is hard to see. But mostly, people are blue, regardless of their race or sex.

Try having someone stand in front of a white wall, unfocus your eyes and look just to the side of the person. And believe in yourself

Doreen Virtue has many books about it. You can find her in the Metaphysical or New Age section of your local bookstore.
