It's usually five, but I had it lock up after 3. If the code is no longer accepted and you are putting it on your personal use computers, you can call the 800 number and they will give you a new access code.

You have to be the original registered owner of the software though.

One, the one it was originally installed on (if it came with the computer). If you bought it as an upgrade, you have to remove it from whatever computer it's already installed on.

Read your EULA (End User License Agreement) very carefully.

Microsoft reps say that you can probably get away with 3 installations. After that you'd better "look out"! ;-)=
