An illiterate criminal named muhammad came up with a scheme to make pagan Arabs think he was a prophet so he could get away with murder and have the Arabs protect him, thinking God told muhammad to tell them to help muhammad do lots of things that if they had read the Bible they would know God said nobody, especially prophets, should do. Since hardly any of the pagan Arabs knew much about the God of the Bible, it didn't take much to fool them. Proof of this is Verse( or Surah if you are a racist and think Arabic is superior) 33:50 says Muhammad could have sex with all the slave girls he wanted, and lots of other women he wasn't married to. God told us in the real Bible that this is adultery, and there's no such thing as a Prophet Pass when it comes to breaking the 10 Commandments. It's simple. Muhammad lied and made it all up as part of his building a criminal enterprise and called himself the Prophet so everybody would think they automatically go to hell if they hurt Muhammad. Just look at all the verses (surah for the raciats) in the koran that say people must honor muhammad. Nothing like that for the real prophets in the Bible. Muslims will even riot if someomne draws a cartoon of Muhammad because the Koran says not to offend the "prophet".
As for the compilation, that happened after muhammad died and his heirs were trying to figure out how to keep the Muslim Mafia going. Most of them couldn't read, but a few could, and they gathered up all they could find of Muhammad's papers, it wouldn't have been much, and put them together for what they called the Koran, except for some papers which, according to Ayesha the girl Muhammad married when she was 6 and he was 53, a goat ate while the Muslims were arguing over what to put in the Koran so they could keep fooling people into thinking they were doing all those evil things for God and keep making money off it all.
And that's how the Koran came into being. Like any criminal orgazation, Muslims have been fighting each other since Muhammad invented Islam, and they always will as long as there are 2 or more Muslims. It's about time they realize Muhammad was not a prophet, and Allah was really a pagan arab moon god, not the God of the Bible, and they have been fooled by a criminal who went to hell 1400 years ago.
Wake up and smell the jihad...

While in Egypt, Muhammad stumbled upon the moon god in a tent...and since Muhammad wanted to be a prophet...he had an idea...he would write the Qu`ran. This was between 600-650 after the death of Jesus Christ.
He added some Judaism and Christianity to try and lend it some credibility.
The Bible was written over a 3,500 year period. It was inspired by God through men, from shepard's to doctors...that were from three different continents.
They continued to write the same things even though most didn't know one another. The thread woven throughout the Bible (Old and New Testament) is Jesus Christ.

No, it was dictated to Muhammad by an Angel of God. It is very disjointed, when you compare it to the Bible. Muhammad was illiterate. So everything dictated to him was further dictated to his wife and friends. Some was even written down on animal bones. IT took years to compile everything into one cohesive book. But according to Islam, nothing was lost and nothing was added. There are many many similarities between the two books, and many many differences.

The Qur'an was dictated from Allah through the angel Gabriel to the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) who then dictated it to his followers who wrote it down. The original copies are still intact and on display in Mecca.
