there's this place in new york that has a drink called a $10,000 dollar martini... the reason is because it has a diamond ring at the bottom of the glass, and that's how he proposes.

When my husband proposed to me, it was at Christmas. All the family knew about it. Mickey Mouse is my favorite Disney character, so he put a Mickey and Minnie together in a box and wrote a note on it asking if I would marry him. I thought that it was really sweet. If she collects any figurines like Precious Moments, or Cherished Teddies you could use a bride and groom from that line. Then she would have a lasting memento of the day you proposed. Good Luck

We just got engaged this weekend--I would say first it was perfect because it was a total surprise-I didn't suspect a thing because the day was just an ordinary one...we went to a wine tasting and the final bottle we were presented with had a label on it that said M, Will you marry me? R That truly knocked my socks off! To think of the planning and the effort he put into that plan was my most favorite part about it!

oh I like that you're thinking about this & making an effort!! What do you think she'd like?? My man proposed in December, it was so sweet, we had a dinner party that night and I was going away on a business trip in the morning. we got into bed and he said he had something for me. It was a ruby necklace (I inherited a ruby engagement ring that I'm very attached to) and he said "this is a request for marriage". It was the most special thing because A) it was relaxed and easy, typical of our relationship and B) because he knew me well enough to know that I wouldn't want a different ring, he just gave me something to match the one I love.

Or, take her for a week to Cuba, and write it on her tummy in sunscreen. Then ask her to read it.

The way my husband proposed to me I thought was special. I was throwing him a surprise b-day party encouraged by my friends. Little did I know when we showed up the surprise was on me! He had set the whole thing up with the help of our friends and family. We walked in and everyone yelled surprise including myself and he then he got down on one knee and popped the question! It was special to have all our friends and loved ones be there to celebrate the occasion!

1)go to a fine resturant.hire a singer to seranade a song to her from you. Then pop the question on bended knees.
2)have a airplane fly a banner in the sky with a proposal on it.
3)Get on a radio talk show and ask her on the air

I hope you don't do this in public. Trusting strangers to help make your special moments special can be trouble.

Make her do a puzzle or word game that reveals the question at the end.

My preferred way would be on vacation, almost as soon as we could get some quiet time together.

Funny, huh? You could try telling her that you are pregnant and "have" to get married.

You can get a plane to do some skywriting over the area where she lives. "........., I love you will you marry me?"
