Proactive works for different skin types. If you have a friend that has it ask if you can try some. Thats what I did, because one of my friends had really bad acne all over her face and within a month of proactive their wasn't even one pimple on her face! And I tried it and it worked for me and I have semi-sensitive skin. So first try it and see the results. And if you decide proactive isn't for you, just try to wash your face twice a day morning and evening until you find a product for you!
Good Luck!

I used pro activ for almost a year and for the first 3 months or so it worked great but you have to make sure you use it every morning and night if I missed one face washing my face would break out again the next day and after a few months it didn't work as good...but I started using ACNE FREEyou can buy it at walmart and it is the cheap version of pro activ and it only costs like 17 bucks or something, I swear buy it I have been using it for over a year and it works wonderfully I still get acne right before my menstrual cycle but it clears up faster with acne free than with anything else and the breakouts arent as bad as they were with any other face wash I have used...

My 16 year old niece tried it a few years back, and it not only made her acne worse, but it dried her skin to the point that she had scars that resembled second degree burns!

No mater what the package reads, Proactive is nothing but acetane and water, and acetane is the WORSE thing you can put on your skin.

I got it for my daughter and it worked for the first few months that she used it and then I guess her skin got used to it and it no longer works. I am taking her to the Dermatologist in March. I have cancelled my account with proactive. They also send you and charge you too often for the product.

no it doesnt. if ur one of those people who tried many products and they still dont work, then proactiv is not going to work for you. its no different than any other products that guarantee you 'acne free'. in fact, its going to make it worse, AND ITS RIP-OFF

It worked for me, but they do send you too much too often. If your going to try it, I suggest buying it once off eBay to decide if you want to keep using it. You will also get it cheaper that way.

Did not work for me. It made my acne worse. I tried the regiem at acne.org and it has worked wonders.

It didn't work for me - but my acne was hormonal and went away on it's own.
