well, ineffective means the opposite of effective. So it means that it is NOT effective. That it will not work. Will not resolve the dilemma you possess.
In Greek to put [in] in front of word means the opposite of.
I would like to add, just as easily as you asked yahoo answers, you could have looked it up in an on-line dictionary. Then you wouldn't lose any points. Just a thought. . .

Being Ineffective is the failure to get the 10 points you can give me on this question. A) If I don't give you an adequate answer, I'm ineffective. B) If I don't do the right things in answering your question, I'm ineffective. C) If I didn't answer your question, I was 100% ineffective due to inaction. D) If I answered every question on Yahoo answers but only in a poor manner, I'd not get your 10 points, so therefore I'd be ineffective. Since my goal was to receive your 10 points, anything else, was ineffective.
