also, just to let you guys know, i bought a box of 50 (i couldn't afford the box of 500 unfortunately) rounds of ''Remington Thunderbolts'' for my .22 and i was wondering if that's a pretty accurate round? also i'll just be usually using my rifle for plinking
or just shooting targets, but it's nice to know i can kill a squirrel (sp?), coyote ect. b/c i plan on hunting when i can get more experience/ a more powerful rifle.
sorry guys but i don't know the maker/model of the .22 rifle, (i'll let u guys know hopefully later on today.) the only thing i know about it is it's loaded by a tubular magazine, it's semi-auto, and when you fire the last shot the bolt/side where the cartridges eject stays open. oohhh....and it's brown, i also bought it for only $80

It is not a Ruger 10/22 if it has a tubular mag. It could be a Marlin, Browning, etc..It will probably hold 15 rounds. Ask the guy selling it to you, he might know. Anyway, the 22 is a varmint rifle, we use ours for groundhogs. There are different types of rounds, like the heavyweight, hollowpoints, subsonic, there are all sorts of velocities, WMR, etc. My personal favorite is the Hornady v-max, it is 35 grain and it's expensive, but well worth it if you want to be accurate! But we have used everything in our rifles with no problems. Wal-mart sells federal (i think) 500 round boxes for $15. I have three 22's-a single shot bolt action, a lever action (15 rd tube mag), and I have a Ruger 10/22.

it depends on your rifle. A tubular magazine will hold anywhere from 10-15 rounds, based upon the manufacturer and model. My Marlin holds 12. With a detatchable magazine there are a lot of factors. Most factory magazines hold 10 rounds, as does my Mossberg 802, but you can get aftermarket magazines for the 10/22 that will hold up to 100 rounds. I'm sure there are some out there that will hold even more.

I have a .22 that has 18 rounds in the tubular magazine.
.22s with detachable magazines vary. It can be anywhere from 5 to 275 with the American 180 submachine gun.

Tube about 10 to 14. Clips are 10 standard, but you can buy 25 or 30 rounds clips for a Ruger 10/22

Again it depends on the rifle. The Ruger 10\22 with the rotary magazine will hold 10, but you can buy aftermarket clips that will hold 20, 30 or 100.

Largest capicity is 100 rounds as mentioned for the Calico M100.
You will find .22 semi-auto rifles with magazines from 5 to 100 rounds, depending on make, model and optional accessories.

It depends on the rifle. A Henry .22 with a tube loading system holds 15 and one in the chamber. There are so many different kinds of rifles so it's a bit difficult to answer this question precisely.

It depends on the rifle and magizine. It sounds like your talking about the Ruger 10/22. The one I have holds about 7-8 rounds. When you go to buy a magizine it usually tells you before you buy how many rounds it holds.

If its a tubular magazine its probably around 15 or 17......something like that. They are good for squirrel, rabbit, racoons, ground hogs, coyotes, etc.
