should i carry on hopeing he will change his mind or end it for good which i have done many times but he comes over and its back to norm help i really like him its easy than going on the dating game which i hate!i have known him for years.

I can understand your devotion to this man. However, it will do you no favours of prolonging the agony by holding on for a 'relationship' with this fella. Treat yourself with more respect and value yourself. Don't let this man use you for casual sex.
He is more than likely to be 'playing the field' with every girl in site. You need to drop him like a bad habit. Then and only then can your heart mend and you can search for true love and happiness.

Make a clean break from this guy. Tell him that you can't do casual sex with him anymore because you want a proper relationship. If he still says that he can't offer you more (i.e. he doesn't care for you THAT way), then tell him that you have to end it and tell him not to call you or come round.
Tell yourself: You are not a sex toy for him to play with. You are a strong independent woman with real feelings who is in charge of your own life. You don't need him to complete you.

Kelly, the biggest mistake you have done was having sex with this guy and not getting to know him your basically just friends with benefits, as woman we tend to get emotionally attached to a guy were having sex with instead of thinking if i had took the time out to get to know him as a person could it work? It may seems eaiser just trying to date him but you guys already did the damn thing, so basically there's no mystery there

Why would he change his mind when you are giving him what he wants on a plate and when he wants it too.
Why can't he give you anything more? He doesn't want to.
He knows how you feel and knows how easily he can manipulate you back into his routines.
Get out of this relationship and find someone else who can offer you the whole package and wants to.

well...its up to you what your priorities are whether you want a bloke who doesn't bother with the details and just wants sex...or do face the dating scene and find yourself a bloke who wants you for everything not just for a bit of fun. I personally after that long would test him by going out with other people and seeing how he likes it, he might actually realise he wants you, if he isn't bothered ditch him.
