not too long after your bankruptcy has been discharged you should be getting credit card applications in the mail from a lot of different places. just check every one you get and you will find one or more you can apply for that do not have annual fees.

It depends on how long ago you filed bankruptcy. Typically, not in the first 2 years. You need to re-establish yourself with secured credit first (like a car, secured credit card, or other collateral).
