I've learned some different sun salutations, and I'm trying to do them without the video. I find that closing my eyes makes the experience better. But I'm wondering how long I should hold the stretches before moving on. The video has me holding them for no more than about 10 seconds per. Thoughts?

U can maintain the postur for about 2 minutes so that u can get the effect out of it... and then finishing all the positions u have to restart agian... continue the experiments for 2 times

Hey,
Yoga can be a great friend during diets. I were able to go from a size 12 to a size 8. That's what it looks like when 19 lbs vanishes.

I would recommend 5 deep breaths for the sun salutation asanas

as long as you can without it being painful. I love yoga and in the beginning you won't be able to do the poses for long but try to hold as long as you can
