Why do men say they will call you back but never do? How come they don't just say they are not interested?

Because it isn't important, but the woman insists, so we say ok, but then forget about it because it still isn't important to us.

Just imagine what would happen if they DID call back; they'd be calling back women all the time. Men can be very selective and it's just as well because if women DO get a call back then there is a better chance that the two people concerned will get along. Better to know before serious dating starts that you have a man who won't call back.

Personally, If i tell a girl i`ll call her when i have no intention of calling, it`s just to spare her feelings. It`s better than "sorry love, it was a one off cos you`re a ten pinter..." Women do this as well so it`s a two way street. Maybe if everyone told the complete truth all the time, everybody would be really miserable!

well if a man really likes you they would call you back obviously, a promise is important. if he doesnt call back he either isnt interested or hes just a friend or you see him as more.

but yea people who like you then dont and dont tell you are just cowards for not letting you know.
he could be keepin you on the backburner as a backup or might just be too lazy to call you.. or in some cases scared?? especially if he just met you.

if you have the feeling he doesnt like you just move on from it, dont let this guy bug you, he'll come running once you meet someone else ;)

i once liked a girl and after time i didnt like her as much and instead of just pretending i liked her as some guys do (just for sex) i just ended it asap in a genuine way, all the guy has to do is say something, im one of those very few guys who just tells the girl straight,
find a man who keeps his promise.

It's not only men, I think women do the same thing. But men do it more, they don't know how to express themselves most of the time. if they don't call back, it 's there way of saying I don't like you

some of the reasons that they do not come back is because you let them get away with you talking about yourself and not mentioning what he likes to do, #2 your dont put out on the first date like a little BJ never hurt a relationship

Because we dont like to hurt girls feelings and find it easier to avoid the subject...and then hopefully it will go away....

men have 3 settings.... ( 1 ) try to eat it....if we cant eat it ( 2 ) try to drink it ......if we cant drink it ( 3 ) shag it......

Some of us however have the added function of (4) think about others feelings.....

But most models dont....

Because they are cowards. Plain and simple. They say they will call you to avoid a confrontation, but then just ignore you. It's stupid, because it's just better to hear the truth than to be left wondering and waiting.
