that sounds great,i just met a girl from the uk too..i keep asking her question about england and she always ask me about usa,,,its fun to learn what others do in there country...gl

go for it girl, it doesnt matter what others say about it,
and hanging out at the mall would be good too.
here in uk i only wish it was easier where im from, hardly anyone will ask you to the mall because they think it sounds too old fashioned or people just dont like asking out in a casual way.
i noticed here many people ask for your number instead of just arranging to go out first. but asking for his number/email is another way if you find it hard to ask him out.
i think this guy will be really happy if you ask him out and he'll say yes :)

Sound good. But I think it is better if you can have a first date with a few good friends as a closer group time.
Firstly, it is more natural.
Secondly, you can observe his character before making further move. You can only see the true side of him when you two are not alone.
